Plus d'info
Kore Beloya is one of the oldest washing stations operated by Tracon Trading PLC, a renowned family-run exporter known for some of Ethiopia’s finest coffees.
During harvest, around 320 smallholder farmers deliver ripe red cherries daily, each contributing 100–200 kilograms—yielding just 15–35 kilograms of green coffee after processing. The coffee grows under shade trees like Cordia africana and Bibira, which support slow cherry maturation and higher quality.
This lot, which was sourced by Canadian importer Catalogue Coffee, was processed using an anaerobic natural method, producing complex fruit and fermentation notes that really stood out to us. Its rare processing method and exceptional cup quality led to this lot being purchased at more than double the average price of a natural Ethiopian microlot—a reflection of its excellence and rarity. As a result we have less than 60kg of this coffee available, so try it while you can!
