Transmission Gearbox
A first in a manual grinder: Weber Workshops designed and manufactured their own 2-speed transmission.
- 1st gear reduces effort by half — ideal for lighter roasts.
- 2nd gear allows faster grinding — ideal for darker roasts.
Magnetic Dust Lid
The KEY’s popular anti-popcorning and dust lid has been incorporated into the HG-2. Magnets allow the lid to pull apart and off for cleaning, or lift upward and stay suspended for loading beans into the burr chamber. Once loaded, the cover drops smoothly back into place, preventing fragments from bouncing out during grinding.
Magic Tumbler
The patented mechanism for automated WDT grounds homogenization:
