Plus d'info
The Antioquia region of Colombia holds a special place for our importing partner, Juan Carlos Arango. His family has been growing coffee there for generations, and his uncle, Francisco Giraldo, still operates a farm in this remarkable region. Francisco’s farm, El Edén, forms the foundation of our Foncé blend, and we’ve been sourcing coffee from it for many years.
Cedral—a reference to the region’s native flora—is not the name of a specific farm, but rather a lot composed of coffee from several farms that share similar altitudes and microclimates. This creates a consistent cup profile that is sweet and balanced, with mild, pleasant acidity. Our team thoroughly enjoyed this coffee on the cupping table, and we knew immediately that we had to share it with our customers. Like everything we purchase through our relationship with Arango, it stands out among the very best that Colombia has to offer.
